Hello Members,
Ellie Kim, from STL has reached out to our club with a volunteering opportunity for a vision screening mission trip in Oakland, CA on Saturday, October 12th.
STL, or See The Lord is a non-profit organization that strives to provide eye care to underserved communities locally, and internationally. Prior experience is welcome, but none is required for this volunteer event, as volunteers will be trained to pre-test and check-in patients on the day of the event. This opportunity is a great way to get an introduction to what vision screenings are like, as well as to provide care to communities that have limited access to eye care services.
If you are interested in attending, please fill out the following form by this Sunday, September 8:

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns about the event so I can contact Ellie for clarification.
